LAHORE: The Federal Insurance Ombudsman (FIO) office declared an emergency in the department and ordered the insurance providers to quickly settle claims from flood victims for the destruction of their homes, livestock, and enterprises, among other things.
Insurance firms have been compelled to compensate flood victims quickly.
According to Abdul Basit Khan, the director of the FIO in Punjab, Dr. Khawar Jameel declared a state of emergency inside the organisation, established the FIO Flood Emergency Response Unit, and named Mobashir Naeem Siddiqui as its director. He claimed that FIO Dr. Khawar Jameel ordered that it is urgent to assist flood victims with the prompt payment of insurance claims for the loss of life, livestock, crops, and property.
